Zechariah Lockett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. His experiences cover working with Deaf and Forensic clients, Families, Children, Adolescents, Young Adults, Adults, and Geriatrics. Zechariah assists clients in mastering coping skills, and in developing the ability to solve stress causing problems which significantly impairs one’s ability to function. Zechariah believes a positive client-therapist relationship is crucial and important for therapeutic treatment to be effective. He believes that mutual trust, transparency, and ‘commitment to the process’ provides the groundwork for a strong foundation; New principles and personal values are formed as each client moves forward in their lives, exercising healthier practices for a manageable life.
Zechariah utilizes a wide variety of treatment services. When a client consults with Zechariah, he gives special attention to customizing a Care Plan that aids the client in overcoming mental health challenges. Zechariah tailors the Individualized Plan based on the client’s symptoms and comfort level with treatment. He believes that therapy is most effective when conducted in a relaxed and tranquil environment. Zechariah promotes free expression of thoughts and feelings, and he welcomes free expression of Spirituality, all without fear of judgement.
Zechariah is an experienced multicultural clinician. His experiences include efficient and competent cross-cultural-communications with all walks of life, treating Anxiety, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress, Behavioral and Conduct problems, Substance Abuse, Schizophrenia, Autism, Abuse and Domestic Violence, Stress, and other Cognitive/Mental disorders. Zechariah feels passionately about empowering his clients with the necessary tools to partake in a manageable life.
Outside of work, Zechariah enjoys going to the gym, watching a good movie, reading motivational books, traveling, and strengthening his relationship with God.
