About Meghann Goddard, MA, NCC, LCMHCA

Meghann holds a BA in Communication from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a MA in Communication from Queens University of Charlotte. After 10 years in the marketing and communication field, she made the decision to pursue her passion in counseling. Meghann completed her MA in Counseling at Wake Forest University and is now a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate.

Meghann has aligned her therapeutic approach with an emotion-focused, existential approach through dialectical-behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Her mission is to facilitate positive change using theoretically based intervention techniques. An empathetic, supportive and unconditionally positive client-counselor relationship is of upmost importance to her. Meghann believes the therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative partnership that serves to meet your goals. She currently works with adults, adolescents and children and specializes in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal relationships, stress, substance abuse and issues with self-esteem.

Meghann enjoys traveling, snowboarding, cooking, cycling and spending time with family and friends.
