Mary Beth earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on Addictions at East Carolina University, where she also obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Mary Beth has experience counseling a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and substance abuse disorders. Mary Beth utilizes techniques from a variety of evidence based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Her previous counseling experience includes outpatient counseling for clients who experienced substance abuse disorders, inpatient treatment for adolescent and adult acute services, and outpatient services for families as well as group counseling. She enjoys working with all age groups but especially young adults. In Mary Beth’s free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her fur babies. She loves to travel, read and play tennis.
