Larry Dagenhart is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA) and came to the counseling field from a 20-year career in communications and public relations.
Larry’s approach in counseling is focused on relationships. He works with individuals, couples, and families, and especially welcome older adults. Larry specializes in relationship issues, family conflict, anxiety & depression, and life transitions. His plan is to work with you on what YOU want to change, setting goals that align with your values and what life improvement looks like to you.
It is Larry’s desire to help you, your spouse, your significant other, or your family members create more meaning in life, build community connection, and reduce stress. He wants to guide you on your way toward becoming your best self.
Larry graduated from nearby Davidson College, where he majored in history. He completed his Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. Larry considers myself a lifelong learner and bring a special curiosity to the therapy room.
In his spare time, Larry enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercise, playing guitar, reading, gardening, and rooting on the Davidson Wildcats and Carolina Panthers.
