H. Lynn Dula treats patients starting 5 years old. Lynn Dula graduated with her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Human and Community Services with a minor in Psychology and Sociology from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She furthered her education by obtaining her Special Education Certification at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Lynn graduated with her Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. She is both a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Her previous counseling experience include outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health individual and group counseling. Her experience also includes Intensive Home Therapy where she practiced Family Centered Treatment. Outside of her counseling experience, Lynn taught Special Education for 13 years working with children with severe to moderate behaviors and learning disabilities. Lynn utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques along with other evidence based practices in treatment. Lynn enjoys the helping profession and gets joy from the success of others. She is passionate with working with children, adolescents, and adults. When she's not in the office, Lynn enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son and daughter. She also enjoys traveling and shopping
