Grace Selvaggi earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky with a specialized focus in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH). She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work degree with a minor in psychology from the University of Kentucky. Grace is a Certified Master Social Worker (CMSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina with more than five years of experience specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and childhood/adolescent behavior issues. Working with children, adolescents, adults, and groups in clinical, school, and first-responder settings has given Grace a wide spectrum of understanding. Grace has experience with victims of domestic violence, mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse. In her clinical work, Grace is well versed in therapeutic modalities such as play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief-Solution focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-systems therapy. Grace believes in the person-centered approach. Her main goal for her clients is for them to develop their own autonomy to pursue whatever they are most passionate about in life. In her free time, Grace enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as traveling, reading, exercising, and spending time outdoors.
