Cynthia Johnson, LMHC Cynthia Johnson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina who has been practicing since 2016. She performed her undergraduate work at Troy University, her graduate work at Webster University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling and Psychological Studies at Region University. Cynthia believes that a strong therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client must be created and kept for therapy to be successful. She utilizes a person-centered approach, maintaining a nonjudgmental mindset with unconditional positive regard for you and your growth throughout the therapeutic process. Cynthia approaches treatment collaboratively and holistically, employing multiple approaches. Cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy are a few examples of these methods. In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys traveling, volunteering and community involvement, and scrapbooking.
