About Charity Matlock, LCMHC

Charity is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Teacher’s College, Columbia University. As a mental health clinician, she aims to create a comfortable, non-judgmental and confidential therapeutic space to collaborate with clients. This collaboration leads clients to develop insight into their struggles, meet their specialized needs, and reach their goals. Which in turn fosters healing and growth.

In clinical practice, Charity has experience working with a wide variety of clients who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder. Charity draws from Person-Centered Therapy while also incorporating Multicultural Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques.

When she’s not finding new ways to support her clients, Charity enjoys creating new meals in the kitchen, hiking with her family, and binge-watching shows on Netflix.
