Caressa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2013 and Master of Social Work degree in 2017 from Winthrop University. She specializes in anxiety, depression, life transitions, loss and grief, child and adolescent mental health, and trauma. Caressa’s practice includes working in children, families, adolescents, and adults. She welcomes the opportunity to help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals. It can be very hard to ask for help and make changes in your life. Caressa will strive to help work alongside you to achieve your happier healthier self. She looks forward to being a small part in your journey.

Caressa’s therapeutic style is eclectic. There is no “one size fits all” in regard to therapy and she will do her best to tailor treatment based on your specific needs while providing a safe and judgement free zone. Caressa utilizes several theories that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Mindfulness strategies, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems, all while using an Empowerment approach.

Caressa was born and raised in Connecticut and has been living the North Carolina since 2014. In her free time, she enjoys spending my time outdoors with my husband and pup, as well as time with my friends and family.
