Jen Miller, MMS, PA-C is a native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelors in Biology/Pre-Med at Grace College in Winona Lake, IN and her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant in 2007 at Arcadia University in Philadelphia.
Jen has been providing medication evaluation and management in the mental health field since 2014. She has a vast array of experience with ADHD, autism, ODD, RAD, pervasive developmental disorders, bipolar, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, suicidality, marital and family discord, blended families, foster care system and so much more. She is very prompt, sincere, and thorough; she approaches each individual according to their own needs. Jen has experienced many mental health issues within her own family. Overcoming these personal difficulties developed in her a compassion to see each person as unique and in great need of individualized care.
Prior to being in psychiatry, Jen worked in neurology, family practice, orthopedics, workman's compensation, internal medicine, oral surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, and child care. She recently published a book on her personal experience of separation and the complete restoration of her marriage entitled, The Heartache and the Healing.
Jen has been married since 1995 and has two beautiful children. She is actively involved in her church marriage ministry, blogging on her book's website, and assisting her husband in their joint Christian marriage ministry. Most importantly, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, her two cats, and Hope- her horse.
