Brianne Chauvigne, MA, LPCA, NCC
Brianne Chauvigné graduated with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Brianne chose to continue her education by earning her Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health as well as a Certificate in Play Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Brianne works with clients of all ages, but specializes in ages 3-9 where she utilizes Child Centered Play Therapy. Brianne also has clinical experience working with client dealing with addiction and trauma. Brianne comes from a humanistic school of thought where she offers a Person-Centered approach. She believes that individuals have a basic inclination to strive to reach their potential. When appropriate Brianne likes to incorporate other forms of express arts which include music, art, bibliotherapy, sand tray, horticulture, and/or puppetry.
Brianne enjoys spending her free time with family, friends, and her dog that she rescued. Brianne’s enjoys paddle boarding, traveling, yoga, sports, the beach, and being outside.
