Anna Gross is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She received her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Gerontology from UNC Charlotte in 2012.
Anna utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence based practices in therapy and also integrates creative expression through art, writing, and other tactile methods. Anna believes that using the hands and working the creative mind can help people unstick from where they are stuck and understand themselves and their experiences. Anna also believes that using psycho-education can help clients and their families better understand the needs and tools to help facilitate healthy change and growth.
Anna enjoys working with adults, teenagers and children and had experience working in school settings through a day treatment program and in clients home through intensive in home therapy.
When not at work Anna enjoys volunteering with community theatre, playing video games, cooking, baking and painting.
