Alicia earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Gulf Coast University in Southwest Florida and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Binghamton University in Upstate NY. Alicia is looking forward to making North Carolina her new home.
Alicia has experience counseling a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, inter and intrapersonal issues such as self-esteem and relationship issues, spirituality, and chronic illness. She is passionate about facilitating positive growth and wellness in her clients to help them live an authentic life where they can be their best selves. Alicia utilizes techniques from different therapeutic models including CBT, REBT, Family Systems, Imago Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy. She enjoys working with all age groups but especially young adults.
In Alicia’s free time she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two fur babies and twin brother who lives in the area. She is an avid reader, loves to travel, and experience all that life has to offer.
